It's a brickworld after all...

This globe is build using around 4300 bricks and it measures 40 cm wide and 48 cm high. I tried to make it as accurate as possible using paper, pencils and my old highschool atlas. Some plates are used to give it more detail. Compared to other globes found on Internet I rotated the texture on the globe 10 degrees so the big continents like Africa and South America look nicer.

During the building process I learned a lot more about our precious planet, but the greatest part of this project are the dozens of questions my children ask when they explore this globe.

The last image shows a globe which was given to and decorated by a Lego^® fan.
